The Shollei’s have moved on less than a week after their divorce.
The couple had been married since 1994, but separated in 2016.
Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Boss Shollei and Sam Shollei divorced based on “irreconcilable differences”.
Sam, a former Standard Group’s Managing Director, had been separated from his wife of 25 years since 2016.
Sam held his engagement ceremony (koito) and was granted his wish to Mary Faith Rono on Friday, January 10 at their home in Chepkorio village, Kaptagat, in the Rift Valley.

Rono was a junior reporter at the Standard and rose to head the Corporate Affairs department during Sam’s tenure.
And days after the engagement, Gladys has finally flaunted to those who care the mzungu man in her life.
Unknown to many, however, is that their relationship reportedly started even when she was married to Sam, and was one of the reasons that led to the divorce.
The story has it that in the evening, Gladys would get into her jogging attire and go to Karura Forest and meet up with the mzungu — whose name is still not known — for an evening run.
It would happen that the run was totally something else as the mzungu would have strategically parked his car for the “evening run”.
It would seem this graduated into something daring as sources quoted by the Nairobian say the “Uasin Gishu MP had been drinking heavily and at some point, Sam walked into their matrimonial home to find a strange man in their bed”.
The two are now vacationing in an undisclosed location.
