Maraga dismisses Uhuru Kenyatta’s Executive Order

Kenya’s Chief Justice, David Kenani Maraga has curtly dismissed Executive Order No 1 of 2020 issued by State House on Wednesday.

The order titled ‘‘The Organisation of Government’ sought to regularize changes in government.  Marage stated that the order “…cannot “restructure” or “assign functions” to other co-equal and co-substantial arms of government and independent commissions,”
