King Kaka and Pascal Tokodi have released a new music video of a song called FLY,  which sent the internet into a frenzy.

The song is made in memory of loved ones who passed away.

King Kaka revealed through social media that the song was therapeutic to him and hoped it would comfort Kenyans who have lost loved ones.

Musician Nameless is also featured in the video. The song talks about saying goodbye to the departed and hoping they will find eternal peace.

The song has already had a huge impact on Kenyans who came out to share the sorrows of losing a loved one. They revealed how the song had touched their lives.

Sorrowful life experiences

“Fly dad. I tried learning so much from you its been only two months but i’m messing up a lot. I miss you dad. I love you, please guide me,” one social media user said.

“I couldn’t control my tears at all, i just remembered my cousins who perished in a road accident 16 of them (at) Moi’s bridge heading to a village in Vihiga called Mahanga. It has really touched me, (you) can imagine how i saw the coffins being brought one by one till 16 of them from Maseno mortuary. For sure it has really touched me. Fly, fly, fly, ” Singer Pascal shared a revelation from one Kenyan who was moved by the song.

“Strong message indeed, reminds me of my teammate that lightning struck on Sunday 9th December 2018 on the pitch after scoring a wonderful 3rd goal. Fly Allano,” Chiinku Chiina said.

“It’s unfortunate (my) mom never got an opportunity to wish me in my KCPE exams. It was painful to miss a mom to visit me in highschool during visitations. Now it’s even worse, she can’t see what kind of guy i grew up to be. I wonder if those who leave us in the present explain to her how i am, what i do and who i am with or i remained a LONEWALKER. I miss you every time mom. Yester week, social media was filled with family posts, people being proud of their mothers. I felt alone, odd and unlucky. The world is sometimes unfair. Rip mom. Hope one daybwe shall be one again. God bless you King Kaka,” Lone Walker contemplated.

The lyrics of the video triggered deep sorrow in those who had lost loved ones as it expressed the sad state of death.

In addition, part of the lyrics talk about the late friends and relatives being free in the afterlife.

“You know i read somewhere that if you accept life then you must accept death.

Fly my friend, Fly my friend

Goodbye my friend

Fly my friend, fly my friend

Goodbye my friend,” part of the chorus and lyrics say.
