China has caused great damage to the United States and the rest of the world, President Donald Trump has said.

On many previous occasions, Trump has expressed disappointment over China’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, and accused the WHO of being its mouthpiece and being Chinacentric.

However, China has denied claims of “covering up” the extent of its coronavirus outbreak and has accused the US of attempting to divert public attention by insinuating that the virus originated from a virology laboratory in Wuhan.

In May, Trump hit back at Beijing for blaming everybody but China r the coronavirus outbreak which has claimed over hundreds of thousands of lives worldwide.

“Some wacko in China just released a statement blaming everybody other than China for the Virus which has now killed hundreds of thousands of people. Please explain to this dope that it was the “incompetence of China”, and nothing else, that did this mass Worldwide killing!” he tweeted.

But China Foreign Affairs spokesperson Lijian Zhao said, “The Chinese government and WHO’s timelines clearly show that China is timely and transparent on #COVID19 information sharing.”
