Identity of journalist who cried during interview with President Uhuru revealed [Video]

MKtv journalist who got too emotional while interviewing President Uhuru Kenyatta in Mombasa has been identified.

President Uhuru Kenyatta made a surprise tour to Mama Ngina Waterfront Park in Mombasa County on Sunday evening during which he interacted and spoke to vendors.

Dennis Mudi has been identified as the young reporter who caught up with President Uhuru in order to interview him. A video made rounds on social media showing how emotional he got during the interview.

The young journalist who is from Kakamega spoke for the first time after the his video went viral.

The 20-year-old journalist refuted claims that he was crying during the interview. He only admitted to being overwhelmed since he couldn’t believe what was happening before him.

“I was really overwhelmed. Si ati nilikuwa nalia. Ilikuwa ni furaha. I was not crying, I was just overwhelmed,” Dennis said.

He went on to add, “He was the first big personality that I have ever interviewed.”

Dennis went on to explain more about their channel and urged people to support them since they are a growing channel.
