Katerina iliniletea shida! – Governor Joho

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s life journey hasn’t been a walk in the park. He wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth either.

The hardships he has gone through are what shaped him into the man he is today.

“If you met me back then you would have thought I go to the gym. But that wasn’t the case. Ni kubeba ma gunia for loading and unloading .” Joho narrated.

One of the hardest moments in his life was seeing his mother getting arrested for not having a license . She had put up a kibanda to sell tomatoes.

“I was a primary school pupil. It pains me so much to remember. I couldn’t do anything at the time.” He painfully recalls

A video of the Governor singing along to a song dubbed Katerina did rounds on various social media platforms. The assumption was that he was singing to his new found lover rumoured to be Natalie Tewa. She added fuel to the fire when she captioned ‘Baby Katerina’ on her Instagram photo.

“Katerina imeniletea shida! Wacha tu. Naiogopa hiyo wimbo sasa.” Joho expressed.
