Embakasi East MP Babu Owino on Monday promised to pay school fees of needy students in high school.

Moreover, he said he will launch an app that will be producing educational content for students all over the world.

“We are going to develop an application and a website that is going to take care of the content for the learners across the nation. We will ensure that learners from different areas within this country access the information that they will be downloading from our app and website,” the MP said through a video.

Babu has been tutoring students on Facebook on subjects such as mathematics and others.

The politician said his organization will fund the sponsorships and bursaries of Kenyan students.

His goal is to take education to a whole new level in Kenya.

“We are going to ensure that we advance education of our students in this nation. Those in high school who lack school fees, we will ensure that we sponsor you. We will give you bursaries from our organization that is going to handle education in this nation at a different level.”

He urged students to play their roles of passing exams and said he will do the rest in terms of financial aid.

All school-going children were urged to use the learning materials that will be provided on his website and social media channels.

“For those who lack school fees, don’t be worried. What we expect from you is just to pass exams, ensure you follow our tutorials, subscribe to our channels and then we will do the rest of the part,” he said.
