Chams Media, owned by journalist Alex Chamwada, has entered into a production agreement with the Nation Media Group.
“On behalf of the Chams Media, I humbly and sincerely thank the Nation TV for giving us the opportunity to partner with them as the broadcaster of Daring Abroad. NTV, like other Nation Media Group platforms, is a strong brand in current affairs in Kenya and the region,” Chamwada said in statement on Monday.
He added that Chams Media goal blends well with Nation Media Group’s aspiration, which is to empower by informing, educating, and engaging our diverse audience
“We think, we live, we dream happy stories or call them feel-good stories. We produce unmatched documentaries and features. Daring Abroad is one such product. It focuses on people who have ventured beyond the borders of their home countries in various fields including entrepreneurship, leadership, education, sports, and culture,”the founder and CEO said.
According to a TV promo, the show premiers this Saturday at 7:30pm. It is presented by Chamwada and co-hosted by Michael Tsimangi.

Chamwanda announced that the five-year-old Daring Abroad show is now re-loaded with two new segment.
“There is Kenya to The World that traces the value chain in Kenya’s products making it to the global market and My Magical Kenya in which the presenter, yours truly will be sharing his experiential journeys in Kenya,” he said.
Chams Media in March this year issued a termination notice to KTN, terminating the airing of its two programmes – The Chamwada Report and Daring Abroad. This was after the two entities failed to reach a deal to sustain airing of the programmes.
The Chamwada Report, a current affairs programme, aired on Thursdays, while Daring Abroad, a magazine feature show, aired on Saturday.
