Deputy President William Ruto is set to meet US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee.
In an itinerary shared by his team, Ruto, who is on a 10-day tour of the US, UK and Qatar, will meet Phee to discuss US-Kenya Strategic Partnership at the US Department of State.
The discussion will include economy, defence cooperation, governance and civilian security, multilateral and regional issues and health cooperation.
Ruto is running for president in August under the Kenya Kwanya Alliance.
The DP also held a meeting at the International Conference of Bishops at Berkman Drive Austin, Texas and latter attended another Karson Institute for Race, Peace, and Social Justice meeting at Loyola University, Maryland.
He will later visit Morgan State University School of Global Journalism and Communication, where he will be interviewed by Dr Kaye Wise Whitehead.
He is accompanied by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok and Kwale county boss Salim Mvurya.
