“Face-to-face meetings are excluded in the coming days. Participation in mass events is also excluded, working trips outside the capital of Ukraine are cancelled,” reads a statement from the press service.

On Friday, Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska announced she had tested positive for coronavirus. However, her husband and children had tested negative.

“Today I received a positive test for coronavirus. Unexpected news. Especially considering that my family and I continue to follow all the rules – masks, gloves and maintain minimum contacts,” Zelenska said through social media.

Ukraine President’s wife said she was feeling well and was not hospitalized. However, she was isolating herself from her husband and children.

Currently, Ukraine has 29, 753 coronavirus cases and 870 deaths.
