Garissa Woman Rep Anab Subow has in a viral video launched a scathing attack on ODM leader Raila Odinga over the Kibra by-election, saying he is uncircumcised and a devil.
In the videon Subow is heard saying,”Shetani ashindwee……..na huyu mzee anaitwa Baba, sijui ni baba ya nani. Huyu mzee ni mkubwa hata hajatahirishwa. Yeye ni baba lakini aende Bondo akatahirishwe kwanza. Kwani yeye ni nani, mbona hazeeki”. (Rebuke the devil….. this old man called Baba and I don’t know whose father he is. He is old and not even circumcised. He might be Baba (his nickname) but let him go to Bondo and be circumcised first. Whom does he think he is? Why is he not getting old?”
“Anasema Kibra ni yake, but sisi tunajua Kibra ni ya wakenya…..sio bedroom yake. Tutampeleka Bondo aende azeeke akufie huko,” she continued.
(He is saying Kibra belongs to him, but we know Kibra belongs to all Kenyans and not his bedroom. We shall take him to Bondo where he shall age gracefully and die).
She spoke at a Inua Mama rally in Uasin Gishu county. Inua Mama is a women faction of the Jubilee Party that supports Deputy President William Ruto, and counter checks Team Embrace that is pro-Raila and the handshake.
Ruto accused Raila of using violence and intimidation to win the Kibra by-election on Thursday.
