The mission had earlier said a survey by China’s top trade-facilitating body showed that the majority of foreign firms in China are upbeat about China’s economic outlook in 2023.

It also said China-Africa practical cooperation in various fields will continue to make new heights, and the China-Africa community with a shared future will become ever more prosperous and strengthened.

On December 20, President William Ruto said Kenya is committed to strengthening its mutually beneficial bilateral relations with China, expanding trade and exploring various areas of partnership between our two nations.

“This relationship has provided access to the Chinese market for our agricultural exports like flowers, frozen avocados, hides and skins, while China has played a crucial role in the development of infrastructure in Kenya,” President Ruto said after meeting Chinese Ambassador Dr. Zhou Pingjian at State House, Nairobi.
