Speaking to a local TV station on Tuesday, Senator Charargei dared Uhuru to remove all supporters of the Deputy President from government so he can start focusing on nation building.

“My advice to President Uhuru Kenyatta, if he needs to fire or relieve anybody of their position who is allied to the Deputy President, he doesn’t need to do it in a peaceful way. He just needs to get all friends of William Ruto in government, from all the regions in the country and fire them once and for all so that he can go back and fix this country. So that he can go back to the Big Four agenda, so that he can go back and fight the Covid-19 pandemic, so that he can go back and fight issues of mudslide,” the Nandi Senator asserted.

The senator said there are bigger things the President needs to address in Kenya instead of “always removing people from office”.

He also said the removal of Murkommen and Kihika was done to help in 2022 succession politics. He said Uhuru should just openly finish the removal of Ruto supporters from office so he can finally focus on big issues affecting Kenyans.

“We are aware all these schemes are meant for 2022 succession. Let him do a list from public service to parliament and compile all the friends of William Ruto from the country, fire them once and for all and go back to nation building. So that we stop this gerrymandering of running up and down, doing a parliamentary group meeting of senate and national assembly, firing one person from public service and firing another from cabinet reshuffling. He should just do this once and for all and go back to fixing (the nation) because 2 years is not too long,” the senator added.
