Felix Orinda, aka DJ Evolve, was discharged from Nairobi Hospital on Thursday.
He had been admitted in January after being shot and fatally wounded by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.
According to reliable sources, DJ Evolve who worked at Kilimani’s B-club, was discharged from hospital after being bedridden for 5 months.
He is able to talk but in a low voice. This is because of the multiple surgeries he underwent after being shot in the neck.
The hospital provided him with an adjustable bed. According to a video released by Mpasho, DJ Evolve is seen being assisted by friends into a waiting vehicle.

Last month, there were reports that DJ Evolve had been discharged from hospital but his father rubbished the claims.
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, shot DJ Evolve. He later claimed to have paid the hospital bills amounting to millions during an interview with comedian Felix Odiwour aka Jalang’o.
However, DJ Evolve’s father said his son had an outstanding amount to pay. He also clarified that DJ Evolve had been moved to the general ward.
“He has been moved to the general ward, but he can’t sit. His upper body is okay, his hands can move, he can talk, but he has a pipe in the oesophagus to pass out mucus. His legs are still unresponsive,” said his father.
In March, DJ Evolve underwent a third surgery and had been recovering from paralysis before his discharge.
