Hassan Joho admitted in hospital

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has spent the last three days in hospital.

According to the Mombasa Count head of communications, Richard Chacha, Joho was admitted at Mombasa Hospital on Tuesday. The governor is said to be recuperating from a bout of malaria.

Chacha further indicated that the county chief was due for discharge today.

Dignitaries, among them former Nigerian President Olesegun Obasanjo, visited Joho at hospital.

Joho had elarier shared an audio recording stating he was getting better and was ready to get back to work.

He also took to Twitter to pass a congraturatory message to Hon. Imran Okoth, the Kibra’s MP-elect.
