
Utawala MCA Patrick Karani was arrested on Saturday night after partying during curfew hour.
The MCA and 11 other people who included 6 women, were caught partying near Magunas Supermarket in defiance of curfew order.
They were taken to Kayole Police Station where they were put in cells.
The Utawala ward representative and his colleagues spent Saturday night behind bars in Kayole Police Station cells following their arrest.
Moreover, their cars were towed to Mihango Police Station.
While in the police station, the MCA pretended he had not been arrested.
He lied to another police that he was part of the essential services and had only met the arresting officer while out on duty.

Moreover, he pretended he was sober but was not able to fool anyone.
15 other people were also caught partying in Kayole Police Division at Komarock 3B Estate.
They were anticipating the reopening of the country by President Uhuru Kenyatta on June 6th.
However, that did not happen and the countrywide lockdown was extended for another 30 days.
According to police sources, the 15 suspects were found drinking alcohol, smoking bhang.
All the 26 suspects who defied covid-19 restrictions set in place by the government and Ministry of Health are set to be arraigned in open court at Kasarani.
The arraignment will take place in Nairobi on Monday.
