Micro blogging site, Twitter, down on technical hitches

Twitter, a popular microblogging and online social platform, went down on Thursday, becoming unavailable to users around the world.

Many users around the world turned into other social media sites to express shock on why their tweets could not go through. Globally established media facilities, however, updated the world on Twitter’s state, clarifying that the site was down.
