According to the organizers, Kenya is poised to embark on an exciting trajectory of economic development, and CTW Kenya 2023 aims to facilitate access to such opportunities.

” The event is designed to spotlight cross-border opportunities across nine distinct sectors. It brings together thought leaders, industry experts, and visionaries from around the world to collaborate, learn, and shape the future of Kenya’s trade and services industry,” they said.

Speaking during the opening ceremony of the expo, Global Exhibitions country director for Kenya Edwin Masivo said Kenya remains the gateway for trade investments in the East Africa region.

“We have an incredible three days to create new relationships and connections, learn our culture, and sample what Nairobi has to offer as you meet potential business partners,” Mativo said.

The Kenyan government said the trade fair has a key role in promoting international trade and partnerships.

Tourism PS John Ololtuaa, who opened the trade forum, said the 3-day exhibition offers an ideal B2B/B2G platform for national and global industry partners, investors, and entrepreneurs to tap into the significant business prospects within Kenya’s trade and services sector.

“The event is designed to spotlight cross-border opportunities and bring together thought leaders, industry experts, and visionaries. from around the world to collaborate, learn, and shape the future of Kenya’s trade and services industry,” the PS said.

He further noted that the tourism sector is gaining a lot from such collaborations, bringing in more visitors for conferences and sampling of other tourism attractions within the country.

“The platform offers a platform to trade construction materials, furniture, agriculture, textiles and autoparts among others,” he said.
