During the visit, Raila will meet top-level government officials from the Congress, State Department and executives of US-based multinationals, Kenyan diaspora in America and US Chamber of Commerce.

On March 13, Raila left for the UK for a weeklong trip. During that trip, Raila delivered a speech at Chatham House and met Archbishop of Canterbury Reverend Justin Welby, UK Minister for the Armed Forces James Heappey, Minister of State Foreign Commonwealth and Development Affairs Lord Tariq Ahmed and Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s trade envoy to Kenya Theo Clarke.

Late February and early March Deputy President William Ruto left for a 12-day trip to the US and the UK.

He met top government officials in the respective countries, addressed the Chatham House as well as the Kenyan diaspora in the US and the UK.
