Laikipia Women Rep Cate Waruguru has threatened to impeach Deputy President William Ruto.
This is after Ruto opened parallel Jubilee Asili offices and held a meeting with ousted Jubilee Party Members on Thursday.
In the meeting, political blogger Dennis Itumbi revealed a Jubilee Asili banner which was different from the original banner.
The slogan had also been changed from Tuko Pamoja to Sote Pamoja.
Waruguru believed the act was an open rebellion against the government.
Move over, it showed that Ruto had been running a personal group with different political agendas from that of Uhuru.
“This is now confirming fears that have been there all along. The DP is running a parallel government to undermine the President. We elected his excellency Uhuru not Ruto. With your Asili shenanigans, you have just asked for an impeachment and you’ll be served the impeachment hot,” Waruguru tweeted.
Waruguru has always been Ruto’s supporter and a critic of Raila Odinga.
However, things have shifted in recent months.
The Women Rep said Ruto owed all Jubilee supporters an apology for opening Jubilee Asili parallel Offices against their backs.

Waruguru believed Ruto’s action was disrespectful to the original Jubilee party supporters.
“Deputy President William Ruto owes over 10 million Jubilee supporters in the country an apology for going behind the President’s back and desperately opened a parallel party office they are now calling Jubilee Asili,” the Laikipia Women Rep said.
Waruguru was discharged from Jubilee Party on June 17.
National Assembly Majority Chief Whip Emmanuel Wangwe announced Waruguru’s discharge a week after she met with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Before being discharged, Waruguru met with Raila on July 9 and said she would do whatever it takes to benefit Laikipia people.
Capitol hill later released a statement saying Waruguru was willing to work with Raila and Uhuru.
Despite the actions to save her place in Jubilee Party, she was still shown the door.
